This monocular made in silver and ivory has a short round bell-shaped barrel. The objective lens is an achromatic doublet, contained in a brass cell. It has one brass draw (without retention), a single eyelens, and a flared brass eyecup. All the brass parts are silver plated. It is signed "Chevallier Ingenieur de S.A.R. Monsieur frere du ROI vis le Marche aux fleurs d Paris" on the draw, with the eyecup above.
Two imperfections (market with a red circle) in pictures. A dent in focusing tube and a crack.
